Chris Murphy, Democrat Senator from Connecticut, took to Twitter to tell people that our “democracy depends” on removing all opposition from sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The comments come after Alex Jones, famed conspiracy advocate and conservative talk show host, was banned from sites like Facebook, Apple and Youtube on Monday.
I know Facebook and Apple and YouTube have gotten so big they sometimes seem like the government.
But they aren’t.
They are private companies that shouldn’t knowingly spread lies and hate. They took a good first step today by removing Infowars.

Shortly after his first tweet, he continued.
Infowars is the tip of a giant iceberg of hate and lies that uses sites like Facebook and YouTube to tear our nation apart. These companies must do more than take down one website. The survival of our democracy depends on it.

Chris Murphy doesn’t think that we can think for ourselves, and wants all the hate and lies removed from the Internet. Of course, he is just talking about the “hate and lies” that come from the right. He didn’t mention any of the thousands of posts a day that are hateful against president Trump.
Wouldn’t stuff like this be considered “hate and lies” as well?
Let this sink in. Today, President @realDonaldTrump admitted his campaign colluded with Russia. He thinks you don’t care. He doesn’t know America. We care. And we will be heard. Stay tuned, comrade Trump.

If the left is made at conspiracy news, why don’t they look in the mirror?
There will be no civil war. There will only be a Time of Reckoning for all those who are involved in the Trump/Russia criminal conspiracy. And that time is almost here.

This isn’t about stopping the spread of “hate and lies”, this is about silencing the right. Alex Jones isn’t the only voice on the right that has been removed from social media.
Milo Yiannopoulis has been banned from Twitter.
Instagram just banned Tommy Robinson.
There was a report on Monday that Facebook is not allowing ads for a Republican candidate.
Zero Hedge is reporting that Twitter is suspending accounts for different Libertarians as well.
This isn’t about silencing “hate and lies” like Chris Murphy says, this one sided attack on free speech is what could really destroy our democracy.
