The social media giant again looks to be taking aim at conservatives and banning them from Twitter.
Jesse Kelly, an Iraq war veteran, radio show host and former GOP congressional candidate was banned from Twitter over the weekend. The ban came with no real explanation.
.@JesseKellyDC just shared this with me.
He’s permanently banned with no explanation. He broke no rules.
This madness has to stop. pic.twitter.com/zvwgSLg1Ri

Jerly Bier points out that Twitter is in violation of its own rules if it does not provide more information about the banning of Jesse Kelly.
If this is all @TwitterSupport has told @JesseKellyDC, then @twitter is in violation of it’s own rules. When an account is permanently suspended, Twitter promises to “explain which policy or policies they have violated and which content was in violation.”https://t.co/IrtIF8iKnd pic.twitter.com/MjpxiJ5zBN

The outspoken conservative is not the first, but only the latest voice on the right that has been banned. Laura Loomer, another right-leaning journalist and social media star was banned from Twitter for speaking only facts.
In response to the banning, Loomer said, “the reason I was suspended was simply for telling the truth. I’ve been silenced in America. I’ve been silenced as a journalist for reporting the truth. It’s egregious.”
Over the summer when many other conservatives were being banned on Twitter, the president spoke out against the tactic of “shadow banning.”
Twitter “SHADOW BANNING” prominent Republicans. Not good. We will look into this discriminatory and illegal practice at once! Many complaints.

Twitter denies that they are doing anything wrong, and they are just sticking to the community guidelines.
