An angry leftist mob attacked a Christian prayer vigil with rocks, bottles, and mace.
The shocking incident, which occurred on Sunday in Portland, Oregon, was caught on video—showing protesters from the liberal group Antifa attacking members of an organization called Patriot Prayer, which describes themselves as a nonviolent First Amendment advocacy group.
Patriot Prayer had organized the rally, called “Tiny’s Freedom March,” as a going-away rally for one of the group’s leaders.
Members of Antifa, however, also showed up to the event—most of them wearing black and covering their faces. They scheduled their counter-protest for an hour before the Patriot Prayer rally, so they could “show Patriot Prayer, just as we showed them last year, that their violence and hatred has no place in Portland.”
The demonstrations came a year after Antifa attacked another Patriot Prayer rally in Portland, which resulted in 14 arrests.
It’s unclear how many people were arrested during Sunday’s attacks.
