Conservative Writer Booted From Twitter For Defending Politically-Incorrect Liberal Comedian

A conservative columnist was suspended from Twitter… after defending a politically-incorrect black liberal comedian, Kevin Hart.

Sean Medlock, who writes for PJ Media, saw his account temporarily suspended by the social media network on Monday morning, after he wrote a comment that defended comedian Kevin Hart.

Hart–who it must be noted has not been suspended from Twitter–is a liberal but has been widely attacked by the left as a “homophobe” for jokes he made about his son being possibly gay, back in 2009. Hart’s comments came to mainstream attention after he was tapped to host the 2019 Academy Awards, a gig that he’s since resigned.

Medlock broke the news himself on Twitter, writing from his personal account: “My main account, @jtlol, was just suspended for 12 hours because I defended Kevin Hart.”

Medlock included a retweet of the tweet that got his primary professional account suspended. That tweet read: “Note to the guy or gal who eventually cures cancer: Before you announce it to the world, make sure to delete your Twitter account.”

Medlock continued to explain, using screenshots, what happened in the run-up to getting his account suspended: “”So then an angry white guy tried to whitesplain why that black man should watch what he says,” Medlock explained. “I pointed out that, by the rules we’re all supposed to follow now, this attitude is racist.”

Then I tweeted a very bad, harmful tweet in defense of Kyler Murray, the principle of free speech, and the idea that the left should be held to its own rules. TRIGGER WARNING: Contains the word ‘black,'” added Medlock.

“Now I’m on a 12-hour suspension,” Medlock finished. “That’s what I get for defending a bl*ck m*an [sic] who I thought was being unfairly persecuted.”
