Venezuela went from being Latin America’s richest economy to what is now a haven for crime, hyperinflation and lots of hungry people.
The country is standing on the precipice of financial ruin and it is all because of socialism. President Maduro spoke to the country’s congress and admitted how bad things have become.

“Failed” is an understatement.
The once roaring economy has the world’s worst inflation that has risen more than 700%. The country has almost no value.
The economy shrank by more than 10% last year and according to the Independent that is worse than Syria.
Socialism ruined the economy and it is the people that are paying. Caracas, the country’s capital has the worst murder rate in the world. People are starving and most public services have failed.
Venezuela went from Latin America’s richest to its poorest in just a couple of years. This should stand as a warning to the entire radical left that want to try out socialism here in the United States.
Recently elected New York representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, ran on a Democratic Socialist platform and won in the heavy Hispanic 14th district. Bernie Sanders is a Democratic Socialist and he almost won the primary for the democrats back in 2016.
The left is fascinated with socialism, but they don’t seem to be doing their research. Free education and healthcare seem like great ideas until you have to pay for them.
Venezuela has given the US a glimpse of what could happen in the United States if we shift away from our capitalism roots and go socialist.
