Six Slain In Texas Campsite Massacre

Six people were found dead at a Texas campsite Sunday morning. Like something from a horror film the story unfolded as the lone survivor shared the details from their vantage point–hidden in the woods and playing dead.

The survivor called 911 around 7AM the next morning. The Anderson County police arrived at the scene on private property near Tennessee Colony, Texas to find that two sets of families were murdered.

Four bodies were dumped in a pond, two more were found in the RV. The youngest victim was only 6 years old.

They had travelled from out of state and had been camping on land owned by one of the victims.

The survivor, the wife of one of the victims, ID’d William Mitchell Hudson, a man who lived on a large adjoining property. He has been arrested and charged with one count of murder, but authorities expect to announce more charges soon.

As of now, there seems to be no real motive for the slayings. Hudson had been recently arrested for assault, but police said his violent behavior, “wasn’t of this nature”.

The bodies that were dumped were recovered from a pond on Hudson’s property.

While whatever incited this massacre remains to be seen, it is a particularly harrowing tragedy that will doubtless be with the poor woman who witnessed it for the rest of her life.

He likes hunting, dogs, and supports the troops at home and abroad.
