Internet searchers went wild on Thursday looking for information on Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s final act as sheriff of Maricopa County in Arizona.
Shortly after being cited for racial profiling by a state court, Arpaio announced a press conference to reveal the results of a five-year long investigation of Obama’s birth certificate.
Joe Arpaio appears to be the last-standing “birther” . . . aside from the birther who was elected as President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
While introducing Sheriff Arpaio during the press conference, the media was sharply criticized for their mischaracterization of the investigation into the authenticity of President Obama’s birth certificate and whether the document was a forged document created by the government.
During his press conference, Sheriff Joe announced that after an exhaustive investigation of President Obama’s birth certificate, that the document released by the White House as President Obama’s birth certificate was a forged document.
Investigators presented a video during the press conference detailing their conclusion.
After trips to Hawaii, the investigators actually found the alleged source of the forgery, the birth certificate of another individual, Johanna Ah’Nee, born in the same month as Barack Obama.
Comparing Obama’s birth certificate to Ah’Nee’s, two different forensic document experts reviewed the evidence concluding the Obama document was forged from Ah’Nee’s birth certificate.
To those familiar with the conspiracy theory, Ah’Nee’s name and birth certificate has come up before. However, this represents the first time that the documents have been reviewed by two independent investigators.
Sheriff Arpaio intends to turn over the results of his investigation to Congress in the hopes that future presidents will be vetted.
At least 20,000 people watched the press conference live on YouTube.
Within 10 minutes of the release of the information, the White House scheduled a press conference for Friday at 2:15 pm.
