Possible Democrat Pres. Candidate Arrested For Domestic Violence

#BelieveAllWomen... evidence be damned. No innocence till proven guilty!

As Democrats prepare for the next presidential election, one hopeful may already be out of contention after being arrested for domestic violence.

According to police, Michael Avenatti, the Stormy Daniels lawyer and Trump critic was arrested Wednesday after being charged with felony domestic violence. The reports are that a victim, not the wife of Avenatti, had visible injuries, but the police are not giving any more information about the woman.

Avenatti also represented Julie Swetnick, a woman that falsely accused Bret Kavanaugh of rape. During the Kavanaugh hearings the lawyer pushed for people to believe the victim.

Now that he is in the cross-hairs, his thoughts are a little different. After the accusations came out, he called them “completely bogus” and “fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation.” It doesn’t sound like he is trying to believe the victim.

The news of Avenatti’s arrest is likely to pull many supporters away from the lawyer and potential 2020 candidate. Even Alyssa Milano has “disavowed” the L.A. lawyer.

Like everyone that is arrested, Avenatti deserves due process, and he will get it. The only thing he may not get is a chance to run for president.
