A Saudi Arabian multi-millionaire in London was cleared of raping an 18-year-old girl–after a jury believed his ridiculous excuse.
The 18-year-old girl, whose name has not been released to the public, accused property developer Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, of raping her as she slept on the sofa in his luxurious London apartment.
She woke up while he was forcing himself inside of her, with his hand between her legs.
But Abdulaziz claimed that the whole thing was an innocent mistake. Ludicrously, he claimed he merely “tripped and fell”–and landed on top of her while he was partially naked. He claimed he was just going out to see if she needed a t-shirt to sleep in, after she had fallen asleep on the couch.
“I’m fragile,” he explained. “I fell down but nothing ever happened, between me and this girl nothing ever happened.”
Abdulaziz had brought the girl and her friend, 24, home from a London nightclub last August, where he invited them to drink at his table.
Abdulaziz then offered them both rides back to his apartment in his Aston Martin, where they continued to drink.
He then took the 24-year-old friend into the bedroom to have sex, while the 18-year-old fell asleep on the couch.
The jury took just 30 minutes to acquit Abdulaziz.
