Trouble in paradise: according to a new book, Hillary went on a profanity-ridden tirade during a private one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office–about her growing email scandal.
Author Ed Klein made the claims in his new book “Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary,” which hits bookshelves next week.
Against the advice of her husband, Hillary called a private meeting with Obama to accuse him of fanning the flames of the controversy.
Apparently, Hillary felt that she was “being persecuted for minor, meaningless violations” within the Obama White House.
But, when Obama played dumb and claimed he didn’t know what she was talking about, Clinton flipped out and flew off the handle.
“What I want for you to do is call off your f**king dogs, Barack!” Clinton yelled.
Obama, cool as a cucumber, twisted the knife when he apparently replied, “There is nothing I can do for you one way or another. Things have been set in motion, and I can’t and won’t interfere. Your problems are, frankly, of your own making.”
Clinton’s camp replied to the controversy by denying the argument evert took place.
“We’re not going to get down in the gutter with [Klein] and his outrageous fabrications,” said Clinton spokesman, Nick Merrill.
With Vice President Joe Biden expected to declare his candidacy for President this week or next week–in order to qualify for the first Democratic debate in October–it’s clear that tension is rising between Obama and Hillary, who have always had a frosty relationship.
While Obama currently has no plans to endorse a Democrat in the presidential primaries, it’s clear that Hillary is beginning to sweat–and beginning to question Obama’s loyalties.
