A group of conservative Marines were attacked by far-left rioters.
During last Saturday’s “We the People” rally in Philadelphia, a group of nearby Marine Corps reservists were approached by a group of apparent liberal counterprotesters. It’s unclear whether the Marines were involved in the rally, or just happened to be passing by.
Regardless, the counterprotesters began to verbally attack the reservists, calling them “Nazis” and “white supremacists.”
According to police, the insults then led to violence–as the group of counterprotesters began to punch and kick the Marines. One member of the group stole one of the reservists’ phones.
After the attack, the group quickly dispersed–but were caught on video from the nearby rally.
Police have no suspects in custody, and are currently seeking information from the public that could lead to arrests. Tips can be submitted at the Philadelphia Police’s anonymous tip line, at 215-686-TIPS.
