71 percent of liberals hope that the peace deal between President Trump and North Korea fails… because they don’t want Trump to receive credit for doing something good.
The shocking results came from an informal audience poll, on the Netflix special “The Break with Michelle Wolf.”
Wolf asked her audience, “Are you sort of hoping we don’t get peace with North Korea so you wouldn’t have to give Trump credit?”
71 percent of the audience chose “yes”–that they would, effectively, rather risk nuclear war than let Trump have a foreign policy win.
Wolf, the host, infamously achieved notoriety after a hostile “comedy” routine at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner–which left her open to criticism from both sides of the aisle that her comments were inappropriate.
The horrifying poll didn’t go unnoticed by the Trump team. Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale, tweeted the poll results, adding, “Here is the media’s and left’s position in a nutshell. It isn’t about America.”
It’s unclear when the episode was recorded, but the clip first appeared on social media on June 4. That suggests the video was recorded before Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, but after their historic face-to-face meeting had already been announced.
