This southwestern themed restaurant is known for its margaritas and baby back ribs.
Above the bar in one Chili’s is a painting of a cowboy holding a rifle in one hand and the reigns for his horse in the other.
The painting is a reminder of the Wild West, but at Chili’s you will be treated like a rough and tough cowboy straight out of Dodge City if you try to carry a firearm inside.
The company made the decision in 2014 and said open carry creates an “uncomfortable atmosphere”.
So if you want to get some ribs and a margarita at lunch with your six shooter on your side, then you better order take-out from Chili’s and leave your gun in the stage coach.
