California Set To Ban Free Speech

Gay Activists
How did we get here? Oh, right - the slippery slope is REAL!

The state assembly of California is weighing a bill that would ban free speech… if it went against a far-left LGBT agenda.

Assembly Bill 2943 would make it an “unlawful business practice” to engage in “a transaction intended to result or that results in the sale or lease of goods or services to any consumer… advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual.”

The bill defines “sexual orientation change efforts” as “any practices that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation. This includes efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

In short, the bill would shut down businesses, churches, and nonprofits that stand in the way of the gay or transgender agenda by making it illegal for them to provide services or sell products that aren’t approved by the far-left.

The legislation is being shoved through the process quickly, apparently as an attempt to stop opposition voices from being heard. The bill was approved 8-1 by the Democrat-dominated Assembly Judiciary Council, and will be voted on early next week.
