Anthony Bourdain Unloads On Clintons In Final Interview

Bourdain Interview
"You have evidence that could lead to the arrest of who, Anthony?"

Chef, travel writer, and CNN host Anthony Bourdain, who died unexpectedly last month, has some final parting shots for Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.

His final interview, conducted four months before his death by Popula’s Maria Bustillos, was released on Sunday.

Bourdain, who had been active in the #MeToo movement after it was revealed his girlfriend Asia Argento was one of Harvey Weinstein’s victims, was asked whether Bill Clinton should have been removed from office over the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Bourdain responded by calling the former President a “piece of shit” who was “entitled, rapey, gropey, grabby [and] disgusting.”

“How you can on the one hand howl at the moon about all these other predators and not at least look back?” Bourdain wondered. “OK, let’s say, well, it was all consensual: powerful men, starstruck women, okay fine, let’s accept it at its most charitable interpretation. Fine. He is a very charming man, I met him, he’s f*cking magnetic.”

He didn’t shy away from attacking Hillary Clinton either, whom he claimed was complicit in “destroy[ing] these women.”

“When you’re in the room, you think wow, she’s really warm and nice and funny,” he said. “But the way they efficiently dismantled, destroyed, and shamelessly discredited these women for speaking their truth…”

Bourdain also was asked about Barack Obama, whom he admitted “may not have been the greatest president in history” who made some “regretful” decisions—but added that he would have voted for him again.

Bourdain died on June 8 of suicide.
