Now It’s Racist To Not Play Misogynist Music To Kids

The Portland Public School system recently announced that “rap music” will not be allowed on the bus’ radio and some call it racist.

In our politically correct world, people can lose NBA teams over private comments and daily people are scolded for being racist, misogynist and bigoted.

What happens though if you try to keep kids from hearing racist and misogynist music? Well if you are a Portland school official then you are being racist.

The school system just wanted to make sure the music the kids were listening to was free of harmful lyrics, but some parents say the move is racist.

How is it racist to remove rap music from school buses? White people rap too, white people produce the music too, even white people own the companies that are putting out the music? How is it racist?

The big problem is fighting against music that is clearly, overly misogynist and violent with poignant lyrics that children should not be exposed to.

Looking at the lyrics from the top 10 songs on the radio charts for rap music, we decided to pull some of the song lyrics to prove the point.

From the song – Sucker For Pain by Lil Wayne

Pressure from the man got us all in rebellion
We gon’ go to war, yeah, without failure

I know I been bustin’, no discussion for my family
No hesitation, through my scope I see my enemy
Like what’s up? Hold up, we finna re-load up
Yes I re-load up, I know what up, I know what up

I’m devoted to destruction
A full dosage of detrimental dysfunction
I’m dying slow but the devil tryna rush me
See I’m a fool for pain, I’m a dummy
Might cut my head off right after I slit my throat
Tongue kiss a shark, got jealous bitches up in the boat

Here is the chorus from another song that is in the top ten. A song called Broccoli by D.R.A.M. (Broccoli is a term for marijuana)

In the middle of the party bitch get off me
In the cut I’m rolling up my broccoli
Ya I know your baby mama fond of me
All she want to do is smoke that broccoli
Whispered in my ear she trying to leave with me
Said that I can get that pussy easily
Said that I can hit that shit so greasily
I’m a dirty dog I did it sleazily

After reading the lyrics, is it really racist to try and keep our kids from hearing such damaging lyrics?

If the popular country songs had line like…

I’m devoted to destruction
A full dosage of detrimental dysfunction

… then I am sure that country would be and should be banned from busses too!
