Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian collusion could be ending very soon, and one person says that the results could be “devastating” to President Trump.
On ABC’s, “This Week,” Alan Dershowitz a Harvard Law professor emeritus and defender of Trump spoke out about the report and said that, “I think the report is going to be devastating to the president and I know that the president’s team is already working on a response to the report.”
See the exchange below.
What’s next in the Mueller investigation?

This past week, Trump answered Robert Mueller’s questions in written form. They did not meet face-to-face for an interview.
Although Dershowitz says that the report will be “devastating” and bad for the president, he does think there will be some good news. The Harvard professor doesn’t think that the report will result in any criminal charges.
Dershowitz clarified his point, “When I say devastating, I mean it’s going to paint a picture that’s going to be politically very devastating. I still don’t think it’s going to make a criminal case.”
So the bad news is, the report could be “devastating.” The good news is that the report will not likely result in criminal charges. The ugly part will be the political fallout.
The media and political sharks have been attacking the president on Russia since before he was elected, but if Mueller can substantiate any claims, then there will be blood in the water. Things could get very ugly for the president heading into his 2020 re-election campaign.
