Smoking Gun In Hillary’s Email Meltdown?

The excuse Hillary Clinton made for keeping a personal email on a private server as Secretary of State was convenience–that she didn’t want more than one email address on her phone.

Of course, hardly anyone believed that story–but now, it’s turning out that was an outright lie.

The New York Times released a number of emails from Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State–and it turns out, she used another private email address, [email protected].

Hillary’s attorney had previously told Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), who’s leading the congressional investigation on Benghazi, that particular email had not been used.

While using a second email doesn’t necessarily change the legal repercussions for Hillary–though she’s already being investigated to see whether she violated federal rules–it shows the massive trust deficit that’s dogged Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

A Quinnipiac poll from April showed that 54% of Americans–more than a majority–believe that Hillary is “not trustworthy.” And she’s seen her poll numbers slump against possible Republican challengers.

For now, the GOP is seizing the advantage to land a few punches; Reince Priebus, the chair of the RNC, slammed Hillary on Twitter, claiming that she “misled [the] public.”
