No One Shows Up To Obama’s Rally

Obama Rally
Obama is old news... even his own side knows it!

Former President Barack Obama’s return to the campaign trail hit a snag… after he drew an embarrassingly small crowd in Nevada.

Obama was stumping for Democratic candidates in the Silver State: most notably senatorial candidate Jacky Rosen, who is running a neck-and-neck race against Republican Sen. Dean Heller.

But it was clear that the people of Nevada weren’t as energized as he was.

Despite having a program loaded with star power–the rally featured also featured musicians like J Balvin, Salt-N-Pepa, DJ Spinderella, and DJ D-Miles–Obama’s rally attracted roughly a thousand people.

That was far too few people to fill Cox Pavilion, the 3,200-seat women’s basketball arena at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. To cover for the stingy crowd, the Obama team apparently put up a partition behind the first section of seats to make the small arena look more full than it was.

Three states away, President Trump had a different problem: he hosted a rally at the 20,000-seat Toyota Center in Florida that attracted up to 100,000 people–forcing his team to throw together a last-minute “tailgate” to deal with the massive overflow crowd.
