Maxine Waters blew some hot air the other day that’s gotten her in even hotter water.
That’s right, Maxine Waters said something so dumb and awful that even other Democrats are calling her out for it.
Nancy “the Beast From Revelation” Pelosi and Chuck “Upchuck” Schumer have, to their credit, come out against their erstwhile colleague Maxine for her recent offensive and stupid statements.
What did Waters say?
Why, she went so far as to suggest that her supporters should follow Trump administration officials around and daily harass them until they quit their jobs or force Trump to make policy changes.
In other words, Maxine Waters literally called for a mob of Democrats to take charge of America’s political system.
And since Maxine Waters’ voters are stupid enough to put her in power throughout three decades and seven or eight plastic surgeries, they might actually be stupid enough to take her advice.
Waters, mind you, is somebody who praised Fidel Castro as a great leader. She called on Bill Clinton to return Elian Gonzales to Cuba. She called George H.W. (that’s right, the first one) Bush a “racist” who was guilty of polarizing the race issue in America (what a polarizing statement that was!).
She called the Rodney King riots, which killed 58 people, “understandable” and “acceptable”, just a “spontaneous reaction to a lot of injustice.”
Marx-ine Waters even said that the tea party could “go straight to Hell… and I intend to help them get there.”
She’s long been criticized for her connections to black anti-semite idiot Louis Farrakhan, and yet she has the balls to call Donald Trump out for his alleged white supremacism. (In response he called her a “low IQ individual”, which, you know. If the wig fits.)
Beyond all this, Waters has long been known as one of the dirtiest and most corrupt politicians in Congress, being named to several “Congressional corruption” watch-lists by watchdog groups across the political spectrum.
And she has been under more than one ethics investigation, and was even charged by the House ethics committee in 2010 for using her office (including her grandson, who serves as her chief of staff) to help secure aid for a bank in which her husband owned a great deal of stock. That charge was eventually cleared in 2012, however.
So this latest stunt by Waters shouldn’t be a surprise. At a political rally in LA, she encouraged her followers to “make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
First of all, who the hell calls it a “gasoline station?” And secondly, there’s something indescribably funny about the mental image of decrepit, 79-year old Maxine Waters hobbling into a gas station waving her fist at, I dunno, Steve Mnuchin, spewing some nonsense about “the children.”
But you and I both know Maxine’s not out there crusading with her cronies. No, she’s trying to rally a mob to do her dirty work for her while she kicks her bunioned feet up nice and cozy in her posh office, collects her government paycheck and her kickbacks from the banks, and does the same thing she’s done for almost thirty years; squawk loudly, and hope the charges don’t stick.
