The woman who accused President Trump’s Supreme Court pick, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, of sexual assault is a far-left anti-Trump activist.
Christine Blasey Ford, who claims that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were both in high school in the 1980s, took part in a leftist “pro-science” march, opposing Trump.
She even wore a custom-made version of a “pink p*ssy hat” that became synonymous with the 2017 Women’s March.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Blasey Ford was “angered by the Trump administration’s proposed cuts to research.”
The paper reported:
“It’s a science party!” said biostatistician Christine Blasey, of Palo Alto, who will wear an elaborately knitted cap of the human brain — yarn turned into a supersized cerebral cortex — inspired by the “pussy hats” donned during the Women’s Marches. “Getting introverted people to the march — that’s huge,” [Blasey] laughed.
Blasey Ford claimed that, at a house party while both she and Kavanaugh were in high school in Maryland, Kavanaugh tried to force himself on her. Both teenagers were, allegedly, intoxicated.
Blasey Ford’s allegations—initially made anonymously—were reported over the weekend by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who received immediate criticism for the last-minute, anonymous revelation.
However, Blasey Ford later came forward—though she’s also been criticized for being unable to remember key details of her story, like where the party was or who owned the house.
Blasey Ford is expected to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee as early as Monday. It’s unclear at this point whether Kavanaugh—who was expected to be voted on later this week—will still be confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice.
A “deeply religious” Chelsea Clinton thinks it’s “unchristian” to outlaw abortion.
In an interview with SiriusXM, Clinton
“Every day I make the moral choice to be optimistic that my efforts and my energies, particularly when I’m fortunate enough to be in partnership with fellow travelers, hopefully will make a difference [in keeping abortion legal],” said Clinton.
“And when I think about all of the statistics — that are painful — of what women are confronting today in our country, and what even more women confronted pre-Roe [v. Wade] and how many women died and how many more women were maimed because of unsafe abortion practices, we just can’t go back to that,” she added.
She finished: “I’m sure that this will unleash another wave of hate in my direction, but as a deeply religious person, it’s also unchristian to me.”
Clinton did, in fact, receive “another wave of hate” in her direction—after pro-life Christians took to social media to denounce her strange views on what constitutes Christianity.
This isn’t the first time Clinton has made eyebrow-raising quotes about abortion: in August, she claimed that abortion had added trillions of dollars to the economy.
