Hillary Throws Bernie Under The Bus In New “Tell All” Book

Hillary Clinton
There is no honor or loyalty among thieves, or Democrats - oh, wait... same thing!

Hillary Clinton’s upcoming book, “What Happened,” takes jabs at Bernie Sanders at time when Democratic Party is desperately trying to unify.

While Clinton’s opinion of President Trump, and the alleged role of Russian interference is well documented, it was unclear how much animosity and hatred she felt towards Bernie Sanders over her humiliating 2016 defeat. However, excerpts of Clinton’s new book show the contempt and hatred she has towards the septuagenarian senator.

Hillary acknowledges that Sanders sided with her on a number of policy issues – yet she accused him of “innuendo and impugning my character She even went on to speculate that Sanders’ attacks on her image – as a corrupt Wall Street insider, and cynical political operator – made it impossible for her to unify the party.

Citing examples of Bernie’s dirty tactics in her book she stated, “When I finally challenged Bernie during a debate to name a single time I changed a position or a vote because of a financial contribution, he couldn’t come up with anything.”

At a time when the Democratic party is in utter disarray, the last thing they need is Hillary picking sides, and eviscerating the progressive wing of the party. However, a message of conciliation and unity is not what Clinton had in mind.

“He didn’t get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House,” she charged, “he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party.”

Clinton also noted in her book that former President Obama demanded certain things out of her as well, and this “straight jacket” limited her ability to defend herself against her political opponents. “Former president Barack Obama and Clinton’s campaign team urged her not to hit back against Sanders out of concern that she would alienate his supporters,” Clinton wrote. President Obama urged me to grit my teeth and lay off Bernie as much as I could,” Clinton wrote, “I felt like I was in a straitjacket.”

In her book, Clinton didn’t even hold back from comparing Sanders with deranged hitchhiker in the Ben Stiller movie, “There’s Something About Mary,” in which a hitchhiker suggests he has a plan to start off a seven-minute abs program to top the famous eight-minute abs.

Drawing parallels to the comedy movie, she recalled, “That’s what it was like in policy debates with Bernie. We would propose a bold infrastructure plan or an ambitious new apprenticeship program for young people, and then Bernie would announce basically the same thing, but bigger. On issue after issue, it was like he kept proposing four-minute abs, or even no-minute abs. Magic abs!”

Not content with tearing her democratic rival apart, Clinton also went after Bernie Sander’s fans, accusing them of sexism for their failure to support her. She wrote, “The so-called Bernie Bros, took to harassing my supporters online,” speculating that their attacks were motivated by sexism.
