Clemson Prof Openly Calls For Violence Against Trump Supporters

Mad Professor
If they feel comfortable saying this to the general public - what are they telling YOUR CHILDREN in the lecture hall?

Bart Knijnenburg, an assistant professor at Clemson University in South Carolina, argued – in typical fashion – that all supporters of President Donald Trump are “racist scum,” but furthermore called for open violence against anything he decides to lable, “white supremacy.”

In a series of social media posts, the professor called for political violence against the supporters of Trump and stated, “I admire anyone who stands up against white supremacy. Violent or non-violent,” his post went on to include a “#PunchNazis” hashtag.

It needs to be noted that the Alt-Left, and Antifa make no distinction whatsoever between the KKK, Nazis, patriotic supporters of the sitting President, Republicans, and pro-free speech activists.

Bart Knijnenburg, has been teaching at Clemson went on to write, “All trump supporters, nay, all Republicans, are racist scum.” Answering shocked detractors, Knijnenburg continued his rant, “All republicans? Yes. Your complacency made this happen. Pick a side: denounce your affiliation, or admit you’re a racist.”

In one of his posts, he compared President Trump, his voters, the GOP, and former chief White House strategist Steve Bannon to “Nazis,” the “KKK,” and the “alt-Right.”

“The republican ideology of ‘everyone is equal and nobody deserves a handout’ is naïve at best, covertly racist at worst,” he said on a separate post. “I truly believe that anyone turning a blind eye makes you complicit in what is happening now.”

One user wrote back, “We must be careful not to generalize as this is arguably the root cause of the extreme right’s existence.”

“I haven’t seen any of them renounce their political affiliation yet,” he stated in his response to a student who argued that the professor was being unfair. Knijnenburg argued back, “In fact, all of them fell in line with Trump once he became president. They selectively criticize him when it is politically convenient to do so, but they don’t take any actual sustained actions.”

He even went on to argue that for those that disagree with his claims that not all Republicans are racist, should visit the South. He stated, “”You should come live in the south for a while. It’s exhausting. And that, “Many of my students belong to minority group (black, immigrant, LGBTQ+)…The pushback they get from conservatives — even decent, non-Trump-voting ones — is incredibly disheartening. The republican ideology of ‘everyone is equal and nobody deserves a handout’ is naive at best, covertly racist at worst.”

While the institution hasn’t taking any action, John Gouch, Vice President for University relations, offered up a tepid and cookie-cutter public relations statement, “The University is aware of remarks attributed to a Clemson faculty member, which appear to have come from his personal Facebook account. Those remarks are not reflective of the university’s views.”
