Priebus Cast Out? Scaramucci Fires Warning Shots

Locked Out
"Unnamed sources inside the White House say... he is the least interesting man in politics"

White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci unloaded on chief of staff Reince Priebus, accusing him of leaking details of a private dinner with President Trump and claiming he will be asked to resign.

Scaramucci was extremely angry that Ryan Lizza, a correspondent for NewYorker, was made aware of his meeting with the President, Sean Hannity a Host at Fox News and a former Fox News Executive Bill Shine.

He claims that Priebus was the one who leaked the news and said, “Reince is a F—- paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.” He also went so far as threatening to fire the communications staff, saying, “They’ll all be fired me … I fired one guy the other day. I have three to four people I’ll fire tomorrow. I’ll get to the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus — if you want to leak something — he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.”

Scaramucci has been involved in a feud with Priebus for almost six months and are things are not settling down between them. Scaramucci believes that Priebus is treating the leaks like a joke, and that it was the White House chief of staff that was “cock-blocking” Scaramucci for over 6 months as he tried to get an administration job.

After the story was published, Scaramucci refused to apologize to his colleagues, but he did mention quitting the use of profanity in public in future.

In his tweet about the published story he wrote, “I sometimes use colorful language. I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight for @realDonaldTrump’s agenda.  #MAGA”.

When asked to comment about the situation, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders pointed out that Scarramucci is obviously very passionate about President Trump and his agenda, and that this passion temporarily got the best of Scaramucci.

Instead of burying the hatchet it seems that Scaramucci is simply re-igniting the fight and making matters worse. The situation has increased speculation about the hedge fund manager gunning his job. He has always portrayed him as a close confidant and a friend to the President and that he has a better understanding of the agenda proposed by Trump, then Priebus, and hence he considers himself superior from Priebus and others who come from the White House.

Scaramucci on Thursday claimed that the top aide of Trump was behind the “leak” of his financial disclosure forms – a possible felony, if there truly was a leak of such private financial information. In a tweet that he later deleted, Scaramucci threatened Priebus to report FBI and the justice department about the felony and would not rest until justice is served.

He has also fired a member of the White House press shop who worked with Priebus at the Republican’s National Committee. Scaramucci is famous of using his profanity in public and towards his colleagues and members of staff in White House. He insists that many in the administration don’t care about Trump’s agenda, but are simply there because they wanted fame and media attention.

Elaborating on this point, Scarmucci drew a contrast between himself and chief strategist Steve Bannon, “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock … I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f—— strength of the President. I’m here to serve the country”, about the chief strategist who makes next to no appearances on television.

Priebus and Bannon were both against the hiring of Scaramucci, because of the profane and intolerable behavior of the Wall Street Financier and ever since he was brought on board, they have been trying to minimize his involvement at the White House.

Priebus has suffered the most of Scaramucci’s wrath, an animosity that has been kindling since their days as Republican National Committee chair and GOP donor, respectively.

His latest comments are widely met with disapprovals and have left no doubt that the relation of these two men is beyond functional.

In his interview with CNN he said, “If you want to talk about the chief of staff, we have had odds, we have had differences. When I said we were brothers from the podium, that’s because we’re rough on each other. Some brothers are like Cain and Abel. Other brothers can fight with each other and get along. I don’t know if this is repairable or not. That will be up to the president.”
