Podesta And Clinton To Be Investigated?

John Podesta
"Go ahead and investigate, I've got nothing to hide - except for my creepy love of all things PIZZA related..."

President Trump argues that it is important to investigate into Hillary Clinton’s and former FBI Director James Comey’s connections with Russia. President Trump urged Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the attorney general to take a closer look into scandals related to Clinton and Comey.

“So many people are asking why isn’t the A.G. or Special Council looking at the many Hillary Clinton or Comey crimes. 33,000 e-mails deleted?” Trump wrote in a post on Twitter.

“…What about all of the Clinton ties to Russia, including Podesta Company, Uranium deal, Russian Reset, big dollar speeches etc.,” he continued.

He argued that while his son openly handed over his email to authorities, Clinton on the other hand deleted thousands of emails while she served as the Secretary of the Sate under the Obama administration.

“My son Donald openly gave his e-mails to the media & the authorities whereas Crooked Hillary Clinton deleted (& acid washed) her 33,000 e-mails!”

While, on one place the Wall Street Journal unfolds the story that connects Clinton to of Republican operative, Peter Smith in his efforts to retrieve her emails from the Russia hackers. On the other hand, the FBI’s refusal to file criminal charges against Clinton and the sudden firing of FBI director James Comey are all events that need to be noted.

Moreover, Clinton has received criticism for her role of a company to Russian’s. “In 2015, Uranium One donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation while seeking approval to sell 51.4 percent of the company to Rosatum, Russia’s state-owned atomic energy corporation. Uranium One’s assets included 20 percent of the United States’ uranium capacity. The deal needed to be signed off by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, a panel on which Hillary Clinton, as the secretary of state, served. CFIUS did eventually approve the deal, but only after the Clinton Foundation received the substantial donations.” The Blaze notes.

A report released by the Washington Post highlights that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was connected to a top Russian official during the 2016 presidential run. The report indicates that Sessions was in touch with Russian Ambassador Kislyak during the 2016 presidential elections, where Session served as Trump’s campaign adviser.

“One U.S. official said that Sessions — who testified that he has no recollection of an April encounter — has provided ‘misleading’ statements that are ‘contradicted by other evidence,’” the Washington Post stated.. “A former official said that the intelligence indicates that Sessions and Kislyak had ‘substantive’ discussions on matters including Trump’s positions on Russia-related issues and prospects for U.S.-Russia relations in a Trump administration.”

Trump argued that Comey crimes” should be investigated that that “these illegal leaks” from him should stop.

“A new INTELLIGENCE LEAK from the Amazon Washington Post, this time against A.G. Jeff Sessions. These illegal leaks, like Comey’s, must stop!” Trump tweeted.
