63% Of Small Business Owners Credit Trump For Recent Success

It's time to party like it's the early 1990s! Growth is back, baby!

In their latest poll of small business owners, the Job Creator’s Network came away with some astounding findings. An overwhelming majority of 63% of small business owners directly credit Trump with the late fortune of their businesses.

Digging into the numbers more, we see that 57.5% believe that Republicans are the party best suited to manage economic issues, and shepherd the nation into economic success. The main driver behind this view, was Trump’s strong track record of deregulation. Meanwhile, 14% of business owners believed that the Democrats were better stewards of the economy.

Further, a majority of these businesses were also supportive of Trump’s tax reforms – believing that the media coverage of that issue was biased and one-sided. 68% of small businesses polled viewed the tax reform favorably, with 58% saying that the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would benefit the businesses they own.

“Since much of the media coverage surrounding the bill has been critical (57.3% of respondents viewed the coverage as biased), these numbers provide insight into what the biggest job creators in the country are expecting to gain from the new tax relief,” the survey had explained.

Many of the business owners are concerned, however, about being able to offer some affordable insurances to their employees and that too with the increasing health care costs.

Another 69.2% of the small business owners said that these high costs were preventing them to offer this coverage to their own employees while 76.5% were of the concerns about the health care costs for the year 2018. These small businesses are of support to the Trump administration’s own decision to expand all the associated health care plans. This allows the businesses to bring together money in a pool and to offer more affordable care to the employees.

Alfredo Ortiz – president of the Job Creators Network, said, “As revealed in these survey results, small business owners and their employees are solidly behind the policy pursuits of President Trump. The historic tax cuts legislation is already having positive impacts on small businesses and our economy—financial savings are being directed towards employee bonuses, wage bumps, increased capital investment, and business expansion.”

He further said, “And Obamacare—a set of regulations that have caused health care costs to skyrocket—continues to be addressed by the Trump administration, which is working to replace it with a policy that will work for all Americans. Small businesses are behind the president’s moves to slash burdensome regulations and promote pro-business, pro-growth policies.”
