Land: You can’t go wrong with land. Even if it’s just a patch of dirt in the country, it’s yours. If you don’t have your own lot, look for remote locations within a reasonable driving distance and be sure to check local zoning laws. You’ll want to setup a shooting range, hunt or even build a cabin with plans to expand. Some localities place a minimum acreage for shooting (and some don’t allow the discharge of firearms at all!).
